The
Award Winning Colfin Smokehouse is situated outside the small village of Portpatrick
on the west coast of Galloway in Scotland. Our products reach the whole of the
United kingdom thanks to our gift hamper service. We
invite you to visit our working smokehouse where all our filleting, brining and
smoking processes are carried out to traditional recipes passed from generation
to generation.
A trip to see this age-old craft is a must when visiting our
area.

We are
open Bank Holidays except Christmas and New Year.

You are
welcome to visit the Colfin Smokehouse Shop where you can purchase our delicious range
of quality smoked products which include: - smoked salmon, smoked trout, smoked
mussels, Colfin kippers, smoked mackerel, smoked eel, smoked haddock, smoked
cheese and smoked chicken, etc.
Fresh salmon and salmon steaks cut to order.
Lobster and crab available in season. We stock a vast and varied range of
Traditional Scottish products.
These include a selection of fine malt whiskies,
both well known and rare.
We are
also suppliers of Historic wines and ales made from ancient Gaelic recipes. We
recommend a glass or three of these fine wines before bed. At
fourteen per cent, it will help you sleep...but it'll no help ye up the stairs!
Shortbreads from the oldest bakery in Scotland are also available along with a
fine array of preserves, marmalades, mustards, pickles and chutneys - all
hand-made.
Galloway Honey and home-made sweets are stocked to complement the range. Why not

From Stranraer follow the signs for Portpatrick. After
Lochans Village you will see roadsigns for the Colfin Smokehouse on your left. From
Portpatrick pass Lagganmore Golf Club and you will see signs for the
Smokehouse on your right.
